This page sets out what you need to know before you buy a paid plan for one of our WordPress plugins: AltoGraph, AltoSum, AltoFAQ, AltoScribe, or the Really Useful Pro bundle. Each plan's price, what it includes and how it renews are shown beside its Buy button.

Who you are buying from

The plugins and the hosted AI service behind them are provided by The Really Useful App Company Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17088198, VAT number GB516363987). Registered office: Chandos House, School Lane, Buckingham, England, MK18 1HD. Email: support@thereallyusefulappcompany.com.

Paid plans are sold by Freemius, Inc., our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Freemius takes your payment, charges any VAT or sales tax and sends your receipt. We provide the service, the plugins and support.

What you get

The plugins are free downloads from the WordPress.org plugin directory. A paid plan is a licence key that unlocks a larger allowance of our hosted AI service in the free plugin, so there is nothing extra to download. Each plan covers one WordPress site. The plugins need WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later, and AltoScribe also needs WooCommerce.

Price and renewal

The prices beside each Buy button include 20% UK VAT. Outside the UK, local VAT or sales tax is calculated at checkout, and a VAT-registered business can enter its VAT number there.

Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals, by contacting us or through Freemius. Freemius emails a reminder 30 days before an annual plan renews. AltoScribe credit packs are a one-off payment and do not renew.

Your right to cancel

You can cancel a purchase within 14 days of buying it, for any reason, and we will refund you in full. This applies to every plan, including the Really Useful Pro bundle and AltoScribe credit packs. If you are a consumer this is your legal right to cancel, and we offer the same to business buyers.

To cancel, tell us within the 14 days. You can use our model cancellation form, but you do not have to: any clear statement of your decision sent to support@thereallyusefulappcompany.com, or to our registered office, is enough. You can also cancel through Freemius. We will refund you without undue delay, and within 14 days of hearing from you.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@thereallyusefulappcompany.com and we will try to resolve it promptly. We do not currently subscribe to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme, but you may be entitled to use ADR or online dispute resolution services where these are available to you under applicable law.

The documents that apply

Your use of a plugin is governed by its Terms of Service. Your purchase is also governed by Freemius's Terms & Conditions of Sale and the product EULA, and by Freemius's general Terms of Service, all of which you accept at checkout. Nothing in any of these documents limits your rights as a consumer under applicable law.
